Good Evening Starborgling.
The IP address '173.245.53.244' that your computer is connected is being auto-blocked, because a recent wave of spammer account had been introduced to SgWiki to spam advertising.
When a spammer account in Sgwiki is being blocked by any SysOp user, in some cases, it automatically triggers the Autoblock function in Sgwiki (usually takes 1 or 2 days). It is a measure to prevent "would-be" spammers to create a new account in Sgwiki or to return to Sgwiki using that account to access SgWiki on their same IP address the computer is connected. The Autoblock function can only be unblocked by the SysOp user or leave it until it expires, not the account. For instance, there could be more spamming account created on a particular IP address. The Autoblock also affects other registered users as well, if not unblocked by any SysOps user.
I have unblocked the above IP address so that you can continue using the Sgwiki. If you need assistance, please use my talk page.
- Thanks. Starborgling 21:34, 22 April 2012 (SGT)

Re
Starborgling, for the trains sections, please do not add any category. I will add it accordingly to the respective best Ideals category after the improvements and updates of the sections. As I realised that you put the "Trains" Category, the definition of "Trains" is a car which runs on tracks. This does not applied to stations that you had did. I had removed accordingly and I will add in a suitable category to it. Thank You.
- OK but please bear in mind that really every article should have at least one category. -- Starborgling 15:40, 16 May 2012 (SGT)
Change Protection Setting
May I request you to change the Protection Setting for Bukit Panjang MRT/LRT Station to all Users could edit as I am doing a updating process where Bukit Panjang MRT Station will be interchange with Bukit Panjang LRT Station and I need to merge them together but I cannot due to it being protected.
- Please ask User:Apex-LW'21 as he is more concerned with train articles. -- Starborgling 15:43, 16 May 2012 (SGT)
Good Afternoon,
I had made the comparison of the Wikipedia page of Changi Prison and had noted your points. But however, if you wish to restore those deleted pages relating to Singapore, you may wish to do so or start a new page, but however, you may wish to do a cleanup on the page that had been previously deleted by me. I understand that some of the pages are being copied directly or indirectly from Wikipedia with broken links or unknown HTML code names reflected on the page (be it majority or minority of the page) that are too complicated to do the cleanup or it is known to be duplicated and hence it require deletion.
Also, there were also images & templates uploaded together with those gibberish/nonsense/advertising spam pages that requires deletion. You may wish to delete as well (some of the images that were displayed together with the deleted pages were since been deleted by me if you notice on the Deletion Log). Besides that, the broken redirect pages had all been deleted after the main directed pages were deleted.
Do note that sgWiki pages that are copied over from other sources such as Wikipedia (even that its related to Singapore) that contains excessive unreadable texts or irrevelant to the topic will be deleted. Cite an example of a sgWiki page copied over from Wikipedia that contains excessive unreadable text: Changi Airport PTB 1, 2 and 3 Bus Terminal

- Mostly done. I have not deleted bus articles as I do not know whether they should be deleted. Ditto the SGforums-related articles. I also have not deleted a gay rights article which is perfectly valid and related to Singapore and should not be deleted. I also do not see why we should delete SGWutan which appears to be informative and related to Singapore. -- Starborgling 23:44, 4 June 2012 (SGT)
The above-mentioned bus timetable related articles were deleted because these timetables are outdated and also there are constant timetable changes, happening from time to time. If you notice, these timetables are not constantly updated since 2005/2006. Also, the timetables are available at the SBS Transit's IRIS website.

Good Afternoon, While deleting pages that are gibberish or nonsense added by the user 'Terry How' or 'Alien', you will also need to delete the pictures that were displayed on the page that you're going to delete.
However, its a good sign that the auto-spam creation of sgwiki accounts are gone with the new captcha feature. I hope those unused spam sgwiki accounts be permanently blocked.
I would also suggest a mass deletion feature for existing added pages that were either spam advertising, gibberish or nonsense. Instead of just mass deleting those recently added pages. This makes it easy for mass deletion instead of one-by-one.
--Apex-LW'21 14:02, 5 June 2012 (SGT)
- I agree that a mass-deletion feature would have been useful and it is a pity the "nuke" option only works for recent pages. I don't know whether such a thing exists in MediaWiki. Only Jason can fix such a thing, I think. Anyway, as it stands I think we have now between us got rid of the vast majority of the nonsense articles.
- I agree also that we need to delete irrelevant pictures. I think the best policy is probably just to delete any files not being used by an article. I have done some of these already and I see that you have done many more. -- Starborgling 14:14, 5 June 2012 (SGT)
School articles
Good Afternoon Starborgling,
If you notice that some of the pages of certain Schools in Singapore were deleted by me is because these pages either had no content but only contained just the link back to the list of schools in Singapore or had gibberish/nonsense content of a particular page. Unless if there is a proper content or a writeup, then these pages including the capitalisation redirects will be kept. Otherwise, these pages would be treated as gibberish/nonsense and it would be deleted. --Apex-LW'21 15:48, 14 June 2012 (SGT)
- Yes, fine. I will be writing up more schools. Where necessary I will just create a new article. -- Starborgling 16:06, 14 June 2012 (SGT)
Please delete all school teachers, sometimes they are gibberish/nonsense. Timothyhouse2A 18:43, 14 June 2012 (SGT)
- I am deleting them when I come across them, not least because they are all many years out of date. -- Starborgling 18:45, 14 June 2012 (SGT)
Deletion of articles
Good Morning,
Please feel free to search for and delete those remaining unused images/nonsense articles contributed by the user 'Terry How', starting from 2010 onwards. I've completed deleting those contributed by the user 'Alien'.
To identify an unused image, look at the 'File Usage' section of the uploaded images and you will find a message 'There are no pages that link to this file.', stated that the file does not link to any of the pages.
Update here again: I had completely deleted those spam advertising images that had) been uploaded into sgWiki (i.e. those file names like File: [name of advertising content] [number].jpg (e.g. File:BusTerm 1234.jpg). While viewing the 'File List' page (under 'Media Reports & Uploads' section) of the Special Pages part, these are the images that were found to be uploaded by a different user account created in sgWiki since Sep 2011 right up to somewhere in Apr 2012. There shouldn't be anymore files that associated with that filename.

Consistent false edits/vandalism
This user Thelostsoldier585 has been editing false information without any reference from SGForums or proven facts. Mind to see a consideration. Thanks. Sni996 21:31, 27 June 2012 (SGT)

Obviously 184 is WLDEP and not from KJDEP ...
Is there anymore false information edits besides the above?

Mostly of the edits are random and not sensible enough, as well as contrary to give correct information.
