Introduction
Premium Bus Services (PBS) are introduced to ply between residential estates and workplaces or nearby MRT stations. They are designed to cater commuters who are willing to pay higher fares for a better, comfortable and direct journey to their destinations. Most services only operate during the peak hours, catering to the Central Business District and Industrial/Business Parks workers.
Today, all premium bus services are operated by private bus operators.
