SMB5001A/5002Y deployment.
Hey, could you give some opinion about both the Enviro Deployment? It's kind of frustrating to get people disagreed with mine without any reason. Thanks and apologies for the trouble.

Good Morning SMB66X,
It is noted that these 2 buses - SMB5001A and SMB5002Y were seen running as Training Buses from Woodlands Bus Park (WPDEP). This deployment is made some 2 months back.
However, for now, I can just say that these 2 buses are Training Bus perm, as I've seen them quite often (every Saturdays) doing training runs rather than appearing on any service or depot transfer elsewhere. This is for those BCs intending to drive the double-deckers, on which the roll-out of such double-deckers are ongoing.
You can find these 2 buses running along Woodlands Dr 50 (888 Plaza) -> Woodlands Ave 4 area, all the way down to the Woodlands Bus Park (WPDEP) as their regular training route every Saturday afternoon.

Re : SMB5001A/SMB5002Y
Yes they are park in WPDEP and I do see them. However, if that's the case, then SMB5002Y should have a former deployment of KJDEP SP(972). On the other side, the reason for me believing it might not be WPDEP buses is that WPDEP is used for training/new Enviros. You don't see drivers going to KJDEP for DD training. Thus, it's possible that 5001A/5002Y might be KJDEP TRG instead.
Looking back at SBS2888T/SBS7500D case, where they appeared in HGDEP for TRG before but yet they aren't under HGDEP.

Yes, SMB5002Y was a KJDEP 972 perm, temporary replacing SMB3502J (it brokedown on the 1st day of service).
As far as I can see, only these 2 buses - SMB5001A and SMB5002Y are based at Woodlands Bus Park, and BCs learning DDs would go to Woodlands Bus Park (WPDEP) for DD training.
SBS2888T may be considered a HGDEP TRG bus since the bus is parked at HGDEP with L plates. But SBS7500D was used for the Wright familiarisation before the roll-out.
As for the SMB5001A and SMB5002Y case, that should be a TRG bus based under WPDEP. If these 2 buses were taken out, then it will be considered as a depot transfer to other SMRT bus depots.

Hmm are you sure? Because SMB5888H went back to WPDEP for training again. Isn't this showing that WPDEP is the training ground for DDs(EVEN KJDEP DD will go there to serve as training bus)?? Why didn't SMRT just do the training at KJDEP(For 5888H) then? So it's still not confirm that SMB5001A/SMB5002Y is 100% WPDEP buses... --Apex-LW'21 (talk) 21:18, 25 November 2014 (SGT)
Feedback: Bus Service Deployment
Hi Apex-LW'21:
As I was browsing through the SMRT bus deployment on some model, I had noticed the following deployment service as shown below:
i.e. WLDEP/WRDEP 911/911E*
Based on what I understand on Woodlands Intratown Bus Service, 911 and 911E, are classified under the same service, which the E suffix representing that the service will end at the interchange without continuing on the another part of the loop. Alternative, all buses performing 911 can perform 911E according to the bus driver schedule/timetable, this likewise also applies to 912 and 913.
Since that all bus performing 911 can perform 911E, which means that all 911 bus can crossover to 911E. I understand that the crossover referring to the other loop instead of the loop at Woodlands Ctr Rd. By denoting it as 911/911E* may cause confusion to some readers. The "SWT" loops is actually not "SWT" as now more commonly become parts of the new arrangement to further enhance the service in case there is a sudden surge in passenger volume at that particular part of the service (this happens during Weekdays AM offpeak at times)/to minimise service delay/irregular frequency for the other loop due to custom jams.
Alternative, the Intratown page could actually state "911/911E: Woodlands Regional Interchange - Woodlands Avenue 2 / Woodlands Centre Road (Loop)" and at the footnote state "Bus performing 911E will end its service at Woodlands Regional Interchange." In fact, 911E/912E/913E does not belong to the SWT but actually serve as "Terminating" Loop markers.
Note: I do see 913E performing at Woodlands Avenue 7 (towards Woodlands Circle) at 2pm+ on Weekdays sometimes by regular perm bus at times when there is 2-3 bus bunching (usually the MAN NL323F) performing 913E with few load but the others can be quite packed.
Regards

Good Afternoon Supernutorcrazy,
With regards to those buses which are ordinary perm for Service 911/912/913 (excluding mealbreak crossovers to these services), there are some Service 911/912/913 buses which will appear as the "SWT" 911E/912E/913E between Woodlands and Woodlands Ctr Rd (loop) via the Woodlands Train Checkpoint as a supplement trip to cater within the Woodlands Checkpoint & Woodlands Town Centre area, before proceeding full day to run on these 3 Intra-town services. It does not serve the respective first loops of the 3 Intra-Town services.
These are based on the Service 911/912/913 full-day timesheets.

Hi Apex-LW'21,
By placing the 911E/912E/913E into SWT when itself is not considered SWT is confusing. In fact, the "E" suffix for such Intratown served as the same purpose as some townlink "T" suffix where the bus terminates without proceeding to the other part of the loop. And at times, this will in-fact turned into supplementary service like what you had mention to minimise the long waiting time (before the first/next bus to arrive at some part of the route).
By placing "SWT" for Woodlands Ave 2/Woodlands Ave 7/Woodlands Circle for 911E/912E/913E respectively at SMRT SWT Page, and Woodlands Ctr Rd at SMRT Woodlands Intratown Page, it was as good as confusing to many as now it was known that 911E/912E/913E can ply only on either loop at any times depending on which side require it more.
Alternative, 911/912/913 are prone to encounter traffic jam at Woodlands Ctr Rd at times and some 911E/912E/913E may appear (out of timetable) to ply the first loop to prevent the effect of long waiting time due to the traffic jam at Woodlands Ctr Rd at the respective first loop.
Therefore, my suggestion is to remove the "*" crossover at the bus deployment page for let's say: i.e. 911/911E* (as they are appear as the same route and can ply 911E) and remove the Intratown services with "E" from the SMRT SWT Page and merged the respective information to the respective Intratown Page.
Some full route bus do performed 911E/912E/913E at weird timing where the driver had a short break/there are slightly longer headway for the next loop instead of mealbreak.

Hi Supernutorcrazy,
These suggestions are good. You may proceed to edit with the suggested solutions, to reduce the confusion by readers with regards to the arrangement of fleets of 911E, 912E and 913E.

Add on
Sorry for the interruption.
- From what I have seen on 961S158, 966S151, 966S156 and 966S157 timesheets, 912 is reflected instead of 912E. So should the deployments be:
- WPDEP 966/912* ?
OR
- WPDEP 966/912E* ?
SMB1341U (talk) 8:09PM 26/11/2014 (SGT)
- Hi SMB1341U,
- That's the point. The "E" will only reflected on the timesheet at the time its departs Woodlands Reg Int and the service is still known as 911/912/913 respectively. For crossover slots, we may need to check ifs the crossover did full route (East & West Loop) or half (East / West Loop) to determine if it is 911/912/913 or 911E/912E/913E.
- Supernutorcrazy (Talk), 26 November 2014, 20:17 SGT
- For example Duty 969S152.
- It does one loop at Woodlands Avenue 7 with 912 EDS, and subsequently looping at Woodlands Centre Road with 912E EDS. It will go for its meal break thereafter.
- So should (for example SMB1405U) be reflected as:
- WLDEP/WRDEP 911/911E
OR
- WLDEP/WRDEP 911
- Don't forget that it may again confuse users whereby mistaking them as Weekend deployments (such as 188R, 963R).
- Hi SMB1341U,
- As for Duty 969S152, it should reflect 969/912* (Omit the 912E) as it plys two different loops.
- As for Duty 963AM55, it should reflect 963/911E* as it only ply one loop.
- As for SMB1405U, its up to Apex-LW'21 to decide to remain as 911/911E or 911 as /911E may seems redundant. Weekends Deployment I thought no longer display in it, or even so, will be display after "//".
