Thomson-East Coast Line Bus Rationalisation

Introduction

In conjunction with the opening of the Thomson-East Coast MRT Line, the existing bus service network in Sembawang, Woodlands Upper Thomson and the city was rationalised to reduce route duplication and to complement the MRT system from January 2020 to December 2023.

	162	To be integrated with Service 162M, shortened to loop at Sin Ming Dr from Yio Chu Kang Int and converted to full-day service.
	162M	To be integrated with Service 162 and discontinued.
	167	To be discontinued.
	859	To be amended to ply Canberra Link, skipping a part of Canberra Rd. Replaces deleted sectors of Service 167.
