Lim Poh Huat
Lim Poh Huat (Simplified Chinese: 林宝发, b. 1964) is a Singaporean "calefare" and actor. Lim is one of Singapore's best known "calefares", and has been in the industry since 1989, appearing in a wide range of TV and film productions.
Career
Lim enrolled in a two-month-long drama course offered by Jack Neo and Wah Liang in late 1989. His first role was in a Chinese drama serial in 1989. Lim has also appeared on the silver screen, most notably in the 1991 Hong Kong film The Last Blood. Other credits include Money No Enough, Liang Popo: The Movie, Crimewatch, Already Famous and We Not Naughty.
In 2002, he wrote "Confessions of an Extra", a memoir detailing his experience in the media industry.
Lim is a security guard by profession, and has been since 1990. He lives in a 3-room flat in Sin Ming with his mother (b. 1936).
