Jurong West Bus Rationalisation 2001

Introduction

The Jurong West Bus Rationalisation was conducted on 11th February 2001, which reduces duplication of existing bus services serving the Jurong West & the Jurong / Tuas Industrial Estate area.

182 Shortened to Boon Lay Int.
183 Amended to ply Tuas South Ave 8 & Tuas South Ave 9, skipping Tuas South Ave 6.
192 Amended to ply Pioneer Rd North, Lok Yang Way, Lok Yang Rd, International Rd, Benoi Rd and Jln Ahmad Ibrahim, skipping Upp Jurong Rd and replacing former Service 250.
249 Amended to ply Jln Boon Lay.
250 Withdrawn. Deleted sectors were replaced by Services 192 and 252.
251 Amended to Shipyard Rd before proceeding to Benoi Rd.
252 Amended to loop at Joo Koon Circle via Enterprise Rd, skipping Jln Boon Lay.
253 Withdrawn. Deleted sectors were replaced by Services 251, 255 and 257.
254 Amended to ply Jurong West St 64, Boon Lay Way and loop at Tuas Ave 11.
255 Amended to ply Jurong West St 63 and Benoi Sector.
257 Amended to ply Jurong West St 61, Jurong West St 62 & Jurong West St 63. At the same time, amended to ply Gul Circle.
