Hitachi Small-Type Monorail is the only type of trains running on the Sentosa Express.
History
2 additional trains (pink & red) were added to support the increasing ridership from December 2009.
Between 2014 and 2017, all existing train were upgraded to support the new CBTC signalling system by Hitachi. With the upgrade, a row of seats from both ends of the train are replaced with a signalling box, housing the new signalling equipment. An additional train (yellow) were added from November 2017.[1]
