Introduction

In conjunction with the opening of the Downtown MRT Line, the existing bus service network along the Downtown Line was rationalised to reduce route duplication and to complement the MRT system within the period in December 2015 to August 2020.

3 21 October 2017 18 Amended to serve Tampines East Stn via Tampines St 32, 33 and 34 in both directions.
137 New service between Sims Place Ter and Upper East Coast Ter under Bus Service Enhancement Programme
293 Amended to serve Tampines East Stn via Tampines Ave 7, 9, St 32 and 45 as its eastern looping point
298 New service between Tampines Concourse Int and Tampines Street 86 (loop) under Bus Service Enhancement Programme
4 30 August 2020 171 Cutback to loop at Upper Bukit Timah Road from Yishun Int.
