Thomson-East Coast Line Bus Rationalisation

Introduction

In conjunction with the opening of the Thomson-East Coast MRT Line, the existing bus service network in Sembawang, Woodlands, Upper Thomson and the city was rationalised to reduce route duplication and to complement the MRT system since January 2020.

17 December 2023	75	To be shortened to terminate at Bt Merah Int from Gali Batu Ter. Deleted sectors to be replaced by Service 121.
	121	To be amended to start from Shenton Way Ter, replacing deleted sectors of Services 75.
	162	To be merged with Service 162M, shortened to loop at Sin Ming Dr from Yio Chu Kang Int and converted to full-day service.
	162M	To be merged with Service 162 and discontinued.
	167	To operate at half-hour frequencies.
	859	To be amended to ply Canberra Link, skipping a part of Canberra Rd.
900	To be amended to serve Woodlands South Stn by plying Champions Way and Woodlands Dr 17.
900A	To be integrated with the extended Service 900 and discontinued.
