Thomson-East Coast Line Bus Rationalisation

Introduction

In conjunction with the opening of the Thomson-East Coast MRT Line, the existing bus service network in Sembawang, Woodlands, Upper Thomson and the city was rationalised to reduce route duplication and to complement the MRT system since January 2020.

17 December 2023	75	Shortened to terminate at Bt Merah Int from Gali Batu Ter.
	121	Amended to start from Shenton Way Ter, replacing deleted sectors of Services 75.
	162	Shortened to loop at Sin Ming Dr from Yio Chu Kang Int and converted to full-day service.
	162M	Discontinued.
	167	Operates at a reduced frequency of 30-minute intervals.
	859	Amended to ply Canberra Link, skipping a part of Canberra Rd.
	900	Extended to loop at Woodlands Avenue 1, serving Woodlands South Stn by plying Champions Way and Woodlands Dr 17.
	900A	Discontinued.
	980	First bus from Sembawang Int brought forward to 0530 hrs on weekdays and Saturdays, and 0545 hrs on Sundays and Public Holidays. Last bus to Sembawang Int from the bus stop opposite Novena Church extended to 0030 hrs daily.
8 April 2024	902	First and last bus timings to be revised to 0745 hrs and 0915 hrs respectively.
