to add on the above feedback regarding SBS3107H, i have actually make the same feedback earlier to APEX-LW21 last week. many incorrect edit by this user and also, recently he undo CORRECT edit for new registration for B5LH page and lock the page and reedit himself with the same information. why? is that B5lH section reserve entirely for him?
EDIT: ADD ON 20/3, just discover that he is doing the same for MAN A95/MAN A22 BATCH 4 PAGE. other person edits new registration (under Go-ahead) and he undo all the edit of these registrations? and he edit it back himself? so being a moderator is allowed to do this?

Rail Wiki Expansion
Hi Supernutorcrazy,
Hi Supernutorcrazy,

I'm sorry to hear about the false accusations which led to the Wiki's current state, however I believe that does not mean that their "beliefs" should get in the way of maintaining order in the Wiki.
Is it OK to add info of train deployments (including TRNs and their sequences), acronyms legend and train fleet info (similar to what's done for buses)?
Data can be obtained from here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1PMuCeF31etWzPv_U42qMaFoHvYwDpnkSWHgjvuuTxdg/edit
All data collated in the above document are based on spottings and observations from fellow enthusiasts.

As much as you are "not allowed to moderate", I believe that, at the very least, sgWiki Guidebook guidelines should be enforced until Jason resolves the issue with all Administrators & involved infiltrators.
I hope you will support us to make these valuable information more accessible to all. Thank you.

I know that there are other wikis out there that are getting constantly vandalized, and it is also just as difficult keeping things in order as well as starting a whole new wiki, having to set up all pages again to provide relevant info.

I'm sorry if I sound imposing, but it is for the good of the wiki.

Hi,

Regards,
DarkNight
I think in the long run, it is still best to display the entire line as the degree of disruption may vary nonetheless.

About a username change...
As for an entire line breakdown, sections with parallel bus services make dispersal and waiting time less complicated.

Good evening sir,
However, it is rather strange that going between South & North, between East & West it's faster and easier to get alternatives due to the availability of TEL and NSL respectively (I am not sure how many FBBs Pasir Ris to Boon Lay one has to go for a whole line breakdown), while it's much harder and haywire finding alternatives for origin/destinations within the same area in the West and North sections.

I was wondering if I could get a username change to a SMRT registration number. Just like how some users have bus plates in their username. Eg. SG5064X, SMB1572U etc.
For eg. due to the changes within Canberra town, the route to the next station Sembawang is only faster by FBB than by 117/M. Another example would be how travelling West from Tiong Bahru is only available via 33 and 122 which barely touches the next few stations westward.

Regards,
I suggest that we can add footnotes for the above aforementioned stations that FBB is faster.

Would also like to request to delete the older revisions of File:W2T CityHall-Esplanade.png and File:JurongEast_LocalDirectory as I managed to figure out on editing and resolution sizing, thanks!

Hi.
Hi.
Classification of bus models
Scania K230UB
We should leave the page titles as they currently are.
However, we may consider amending the titles to the following:
* Scania K230UB (Euro IV Batch 1) → Scania K230UB (Euro IV) (Batch 1)
* Scania K230UB (Euro IV Batch 2) → Scania K230UB (Euro IV) (Batch 2)
* Scania K230UB (Euro V Batch 1) → Scania K230UB (Euro V) (Batch 1)
* Scania K230UB (Euro V Batch 2) → Scania K230UB (Euro V) (Batch 2)
This is to standardise with the Volvo B9TL (Wright Eclipse Gemini 2) page titles.
----
MAN NL323F
We may consider amending the titles to the following:
* MAN NL323F (Batch 1) → MAN NL323F (Euro V Batch 1)
* MAN NL323F (Batch 2) → MAN NL323F (Euro V Batch 2)
* MAN NL323F (Batch 3) → MAN NL323F (Euro V Batch 3)
* MAN NL323F (Batch 4) → MAN NL323F (Euro VI)
or
* MAN NL323F (Batch 1) → MAN NL323F (Euro V) (Batch 1)
* MAN NL323F (Batch 2) → MAN NL323F (Euro V) (Batch 2)
* MAN NL323F (Batch 3) → MAN NL323F (Euro V) (Batch 3)
* MAN NL323F (Batch 4) → MAN NL323F (Euro VI)
This is to differentiate the bodywork and the emission difference, and also standardise with the Volvo B9TL (Wright Eclipse Gemini 2) page titles.
That aside, it might be weird for us to list SG3100M in the MAN NL323F (Euro V Batch 2) page as it is currently a retrofitted electric bus.
----
MAN ND323F
We should leave the page titles as they currently are.
It doesn't sound right for us to classify SG2017C as a Euro VI demonstrator bus as
* It is ordered under the third production batch
* It carries the updated face-lift design, the same as the other 91 MAN ND323F (Batch 3) buses
SG2017C has the same engine model as the MAN ND323F (Batch 4) & (Batch 5) buses. Passenger capacity is an exception as the LTA has mentioned that newer buses would have 2 PIW lots.
If not, we will be classifying SG2017C as a Euro VI demonstrator, and the following changes would be made:
* MAN ND323F (Batch 1) → MAN ND323F (Euro V Batch 1)
* MAN ND323F (Batch 2) → MAN ND323F (Euro V Batch 2)
* MAN ND323F (Batch 3) → MAN ND323F (Euro V Batch 3)
* MAN ND323F (Batch 4) → MAN ND323F (Euro VI Batch 1)
* MAN ND323F (Batch 5) → MAN ND323F (Euro VI Batch 2)
or
* MAN ND323F (Batch 1) → MAN ND323F (Euro V) (Batch 1)
* MAN ND323F (Batch 2) → MAN ND323F (Euro V) (Batch 2)
* MAN ND323F (Batch 3) → MAN ND323F (Euro V) (Batch 3)
* MAN ND323F (Batch 4) → MAN ND323F (Euro VI) (Batch 1)
* MAN ND323F (Batch 5) → MAN ND323F (Euro VI) (Batch 2)
As for the upcoming 50 3-Door MAN ND323F buses, should we list them under the existing MAN ND323F (3-Door) page?
Or should we list them separately as
* MAN ND323F (3-Door) (Euro V)
* MAN ND323F (3-Door) (Euro VI)
----
Alexander Dennis Enviro500
We will create a new 'Alexander Dennis Enviro500 (3-Door)' page once registration has commenced for the 50 3-Door ADL E500 buses. The prototype bus should not be listed in this page.

No change to the existing ADL E500 pages.
I will leave the fleet size as 4 for now. As far as I know they only have 4 buses scheduled with 5 AP duties every day.
----
Volvo B9TL (WEG2)
We may consider amending the titles to the following:
* Volvo B9TL (Wright Eclipse Gemini 2) (Batch 1) → Volvo B9TL (WEG2 Batch 1)
* Volvo B9TL (Wright Eclipse Gemini 2) (Batch 2) → Volvo B9TL (WEG2 Batch 2)
* Volvo B9TL (Wright Eclipse Gemini 2) (Batch 3) → Volvo B9TL (WEG2 Batch 3)
* Volvo B9TL (Wright Eclipse Gemini 2) (Batch 4) → Volvo B9TL (WEG2 Batch 4)

This is to standardise with the Scania K230UB page titles, as well as how we indicate these buses in the bus service deployment pages.

Bedok draft has been sketched from Photoshop, and I am on my way to collect more icons, and will make a visit to Admiralty probably next week to trial a similar layout.
I have seen and read the discussion initiated by user 'Litlah', and the discussion page that you have recently created.

*All pages with more than 30 subheading will be split into smaller page to facilitate easier browsing & editing on mobile devices. This means SBS Transit Short Working Trips has to be split. But this in contrast to user Wekelwrady that had pointed out that it would broke the standardisation issue. So a counter-solution would be made as below.
Current elevator dimension is 160x160 on a side note.
:Opinion: I honestly don't see why is there a problem with lengthy pages. There is a 'Contents' section at the top of the page for us to jump to the section that we would like to read or edit.
----
*Short Working Trips will be merged into Parent Service Pages, with the sub heading as Short-Trip instead of Service.
*Merger of Services 400 - 405 and Services 851 - 860 etc. would not take place. But in lieu of the GCM and how LTA like to "draw services into package" anytime, a merger of page between operators could be made so that a change of operator would not need to rename/move multiple sections.
**Example: Merge of Services 400 - 405 and Service 403 into Basic Services 400 - 405 with the concept follow CDS Bus Deployments and Bukit Batok Feeders.
**Such merger and renaming exercise will applies to others with route number such as, but not limited to Express services. Example:
***CDS Bus Deployments → City Direct Services 651 - 672
***NightRider Services → NightRider Services NR1 - NR8
:Opinion: It would great if we proceed with both mergers. However it would better if we could retain our current way of listing the services by operators by reinstating the subpages that you have previously created for a small number of services. Also, the operator logo should be displayed along with the bus service route, depot & bus package details. I think we can implement this after
::1. CDS 668 is transferred its operations to a PBO & receive WAB status so that we can eliminate the WAB indication.
::2. The reorganisation of night services has been announced by the LTA.
:Hopefully this can be implemented before the change in operator for the Mandai & Bulim services.
::Add on: On second thought, should we also include the Express services in this merger? And should the departure times be implemented for every service? It would be similar to those shown in the Short-Trip & Express service pages.

Thanks.
As discussed before, I agree that there is indeed a need for a file sharing system, especially for icons. Thanks and Regards

Hi,

I think in the long run, it is still best to display the entire line as the degree of disruption may vary nonetheless.
