  • Train services between Tanjong Rhu and Bayshore stations (Thomson–East Coast Line Stage 4) will begin on Sunday, 23 June 2024. Free rides are available between those stations on Friday, 21 June 2024. Please refer here for more information.

2010 incident

On 29 November 2010, a Chinese man in his 40s was knocked by an incoming train at about 8.15pm, was found lying on the tracks below the last carriage and was pronounced dead by SCDF medics. Train services were disrupted for about 1 hour and were resumed at 9.15pm.[1]
