	Train services and selected bus services will be extended for commuters travelling late during the eve of Chinese New Year (Tuesday, 28 January 2025). Selected bus services will have its evening peak-hour schedule adjusted. This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Please refer here for more information. From Sunday, 26 January 2025, two bus stops along Thomson Road will be merged and relocated to facilitate works for the North South Corridor. As a result, bus services 132 and 156 will call at the bus stop in front of Singapore Polo Club (51031) instead of bus stop after Mount Pleasant Road (51023). Please refer here for more information. From Sunday, 26 January 2025, the route of feeder service 230 will be extended to start and end at Toa Payoh Link (Caldecott station) to enhance connectivity for Toa Payoh East residents. 2020 track cracks

On 9 January 2020, at around 2.15pm, a crack was spotted on one of the elevated concrete slabs — known as plinths — on which the train run on. The “isolated” crack was located between Coral Edge and Riviera stations. One platform has been closed early from 9pm to 4am for urgent maintenance, while operations continue as trains run on other platforms.
