The UPDEP scenario is different to this, as those buses are operator allocated. What the BYD buses are facing now is package allocation, which is fully based on Sengkang Hougang. Package allocated buses CANNOT be deployed to other services unless approval from LTA is given. The buses you’re referring to are operator allocated, so SBST can anyhow deploy. Its like you’re comparing an apple to an orange and saying both are the same cuz they’re fruits

However, I respectably disagree with this classification, and think that as the buses are technically under AMDEP now, it is better for them to be stated as AMDEP 86 for the time being (until they move to HGDEP or SKDEP). That said, I have left a note below to indicate their leasing to AMDEP (from HGDEP). Thank you!
