	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Tuas Link (EW33) is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the East–West Line. As neither the tracks can be built higher nor the concourse be built on the ground level, the concourse level has to be built on a higher level than the platforms, making it the first elevated station to have such an arrangement.

Construction incident

On 25 August 2012, an Indian national construction worker died after falling into a 68m deep bore hole at the worksite near the station. The body of the worker was recovered the next day, almost 24 hours later. Preliminary findings revealed that the workers were in the process of lowering a rebar cage when it got dislodged from its lifting chains and dragged the 30-year-old worker into a 1.5m wide bore hole.
