The planning area is situated south of Sungei Kadut, northeast of Tengah, northwest of Bukit Batok, west of Bukit Panjang and east of the Western Water Catchment.
Choa Chu Kang is made up of 6 subzones, namely Choa Chu Kang Central, Keat Hong, Teck Whye, Peng Siang, Choa Chu Kang North and Yew Tee.
