The Museum (Planning Area) is a planning area located in the middle of Singapore's Central Region. It has a land area of approximately 0.83km2, and ranks 54th, 40th and 35th in terms of size, population and density. Museum planning area is situated south of Newton and Rochor, northwest of the Downtown Core, north of the Singapore River, east of River Valley and southeast of Orchard.
This area consists of historical landmarks and museums which are mostly related to art and Singapore Culture.
The planning area is located within the Central Area of the Central Region of Singapore and is made out of 3 subzones, namely Bras Basah, Dhoby Ghaut and Fort Canning.
