SMRT Trains
  • From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train Services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Land Transport Authority SMRT Trains
  • From Saturday, 7 December 2024 to 10 December 2024. There will be no train service between Tampines station and Tanah Merah station with Simei station being closed. This is to prepare for the opening of the new East Coast Integrated Depot (ECID) in 2026, LTA and SMRT will be undertaking a series of works to facilitate the connection of tracks from the existing East–West Line to the ECID. Shuttle Buses will be operating at intervals of 5 mins.

  • From Monday, 25 November 2024, City Direct Service will be extended to Bayfront Avenue, Temasek Avenue, Temasek Boulevard and Raffles Boulevard.   • SBS3157M (Service 109) will perform three (3) crossover trips on Short-Trip 109A during Weekdays PM Peak, departing Serangoon Interchange at 1828 hours, 1905 hours & 2007 hours.
  • SBS8888D (Service 109) will perform three (3) crossover trips on Short-Trip 109A during Weekdays PM Peak, departing Serangoon Interchange at 1753 hours, 1843 hours & 1939 hours.
  • SBS8888D & several Service 109 SDs will perform down-route trips as Service 109 from Boundary Road (Bus Stop 66059 - Blk 257A) towards Serangoon Interchange before & during Daily AM Peak & Weekdays AM Off-Peak.
    • Weekdays: Departing between 0530 hours & 0903 hours.
    • Saturdays: Departing between 0545 hours & 0645 hours.
    • Sundays & Public Holidays: Departing between 0545 hours & 0641 hours.
  • Several HGDEP Service 100 SDs will operate on Service 109 on Weekends & Public Holidays.
