Serangoon is a is a planning area and residential town in Singapore's North-East Region. It has a land area of approximately 10.1km2, and ranks 28th, 15th & 14th in size, population and density respectively. Serangoon is situated south of Sengkang, west of Hougang, east of Ang Mo Kio and Bishan, and north of Toa Payoh.
Serangoon is made up of 7 subzones, namely Serangoon Central, Lorong Chuan, Upper Paya Lebar, Serangoon Garden, Serangoon North, Seletar Hills and Serangoon North Industrial Estate.
