Bukit Merah is a planning area and a new residential town located in the Central Region of Singapore. It has a land area of about 14.34 kilometres, Bukit Merah ranks the 17th, 10th & 18th in terms of size, population & density respectively. Bukit Merah shares a maritime boundary with the Southern Islands planning area located beyond its southernmost point. Bukit Merah is the most populated planning area in the Central Region.
