	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Pioneer (EW28) is an elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the East–West Line.

The roof of the station resembles those of stations along the eastern section of the East West Line and is curved with glass openings to allow the utilization of natural lighting, similar to that of Joo Koon. Due to the station's proximity to neighbouring apartment blocks, a privacy screen was built along the tracks at the side of the station (eastbound platform) facing these apartment blocks for privacy.
