!	From 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 10.30pm every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). SBS Transit Bus Service 71 is an inter-town bus route between Ang Mo Kio and Bishan. It connects residential blocks, schools, and public amenities in Ang Mo Kio Neighbourhoods 1, 2, 3 and 6, and Bishan Neighbourhood 1 to Yio Chu Kang, Mayflower, Bishan and Bishan Town Centre.

This service is the 80^th bus service introduced under the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP).^[1]

Short-Trip Service 71A supplements the residential demand from Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 and Bishan Street 11 to Bishan station during the morning peak period, without having to return to Yio Chu Kang Interchange. It serves Bishan station twice, first at the Bishan Stn bus stop, then at the Opp Bishan Stn bus stop, which is also where it terminates.
