Pasir Ris is a planning area and residential town in Singapore's Eastern Region. It has a land area of about 15.02km2, and ranks 15th, 11th & 21st in terms of size, population & density respectively. It is situated north of Tampines and Paya Lebar, northeast of Sengkang, east of Punggol and west of Changi. Pasir Ris also shares a maritime border to the north, namely North-Eastern Islands planning area, across the Straits of Johor.
Pasir Ris is made up of 8 subzones, namely Pasir Ris Central, Pasir Ris West, Pasir Ris Drive, Loyang East, Loyang West, Flora Drive, Pasir Ris Park and Pasir Ris Wafer Fab Park.
