	Train services and selected bus services will be extended for commuters travelling late during the eve of Chinese New Year (Tuesday, 28 January 2025). Selected bus services will have its evening peak-hour schedule adjusted. This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Cross Island Line (CRL) will be the eighth Mass Rapid Transit line in Singapore. The line will be 50 km long when fully constructed and is expected to begin service in 2030.
