	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Please refer here for more information. From Sunday, 26 January 2025, two bus stops along Thomson Road will be merged and relocated to facilitate works for the North South Corridor. As a result, bus services 132 and 156 will call at the bus stop in front of Singapore Polo Club (51031) instead of bus stop after Mount Pleasant Road (51023). Please refer here for more information. From Sunday, 26 January 2025, the route of feeder service 230 will be extended to start and end at Toa Payoh Link (Caldecott station) to enhance connectivity for Toa Payoh East residents. Kim Chuan Depot is the sixth train depot in Singapore. It maintains trains for the Circle Line and the Downtown Line.

27 December 2015	Depot ceased serving Downtown Line.
21 October 2017	Depot Expansion (Tai Seng Maintenance Facility) opened to serve Downtown Line.

Reception Tracks

On the Circle Line, it has 4 reception tracks, 2 that lead to Tai Seng station and 2 to Bartley station.

On the Downtown Line, it has 2 reception tracks, 1 that lead to Ubi station and 1 to Bedok North station.
