'''Mountbatten MRT Station (CC7)''' is an underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the [[Circle Line]] in Singapore. It is named in reference to Lord Louis Mountbatten, the Supreme Allied Commander (South East Asia Theater) in Second World War. The station is served by two exit and entry points. The station was opened on 17 April 2010 along with the rest of Stage 1 & 2 of the Circle Line.
The contractor in charge of building this station was Nishimatsu-Lum Chang joint venture, the same joint venture that was in charge of the [[Nicoll Highway MRT Station|Nicoll Highway]] station.
The alignment of the underground [[Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway]] intersects with the alignment of the railway tunnels of the Circle Line between Mountbatten and [[Stadium MRT Station|Stadium]]. It posed a construction challenge as both were constructed at the same time.
The livery of the station concourse is orange and white.


It is near to [[Kallang MRT Station]] and [[Stadium MRT Station]] and serve the area of [[Kallang]] and Old Kallang Airport Estate.

SMRT Trains
  • From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train Services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Land Transport Authority SMRT Trains
  • From Saturday, 7 December 2024 to 10 December 2024. There will be no train service between Tampines station and Tanah Merah station with Simei station being closed. This is to prepare for the opening of the new East Coast Integrated Depot (ECID) in 2026, LTA and SMRT will be undertaking a series of works to facilitate the connection of tracks from the existing East–West Line to the ECID. Shuttle Buses will be operating at intervals of 5 mins.

  • From Monday, 25 November 2024, City Direct Service will be extended to Bayfront Avenue, Temasek Avenue, Temasek Boulevard and Raffles Boulevard. Mountbatten (CC7) is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Circle Line.

    Legend has it that British naval commander, Lord Louis Mountbatten, painted his ships “Mountbatten Pink” during World War II – he claimed it was an effective camouflage at dawn and dusk. This tactic was never proven, but he survived the war and had a road next to this station named in his honour. This photo series shows a modern ship during “pink” hours, paying tribute to the eccentric idea.[1]
