	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Please refer here for more information. From Sunday, 26 January 2025, two bus stops along Thomson Road will be merged and relocated to facilitate works for the North South Corridor. As a result, bus services 132 and 156 will call at the bus stop in front of Singapore Polo Club (51031) instead of bus stop after Mount Pleasant Road (51023). Please refer here for more information. From Sunday, 26 January 2025, the route of feeder service 230 will be extended to start and end at Toa Payoh Link (Caldecott station) to enhance connectivity for Toa Payoh East residents. History

2011 train disruption

On 20 September 2011, a power fault disrupted train services at all stations on the Circle Line. The four-hour delay left about 27,000 commuters stranded during rush-hour. It was reported that leaks and a damaged electrical cable along the line were the cause of the disruption. The disruption started at about 5.30 am. Train services were gradually restored from 8am and all services were restored just before 10am. Investigations were carried out and the fault was traced back to a faulty cable beneath the platform level at this station.

  Circle Line: Little Things, Little Stories by A Dose of Light
  This artwork captures the colourful everyday life in the Dakota Cresent heartlands. The large art piece features household objects found inside and outside residents’ homes, along the HDB flat corridors and other shared spaces. By recording these items, it also acts as a visible archive of the area.
