	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Bus Service 32 spans from East to West, supplementing various residential areas of the island. From Bedok, the route passes through Frankel Avenue, East Coast, Tanjong Katong, Old Airport, Kallang, Bugis and River Valley, continuing west to Redhill, Margaret Drive and Holland Village. Serving low-density private housing estates, it is a supplementary route between its many areas of service.

As one of two routes serving the full stretch of Frankel Avenue, this service is a helpful connection towards nearby MRT stations and the City. Also, it serves the full stretch of River Valley Road with the East, where bus connections there are limited since most East-West routes pass through the CBD, Chinatown or Orchard Road.
