	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Bus Service 33 spans East to West, linking Bedok with Kent Ridge and surrounding areas. From Bedok, the route passes through Telok Kurau, Joo Chiat, Old Airport, Kallang, Bugis, Clarke Quay and Chinatown, continuing west to Tiong Bahru, Redhill, AYE, Dover and Kent Ridge. As an inter-town route, demand is good and spread out through the route.

Residents of Joo Chiat and Telok Kurau frequently rely on this route for connections to nearby EW6Kembangan and CC8Dakota stations. Within the central areas, Service 33’s direct routing between Outram Park and Lavender makes it a popular route between the two areas, while serving Clarke Quay, Bras Basah and Bugis. As such, the route encounters moderate to high demand throughout the day.

Short-Trip Service 33A starts from Kent Ridge Bus Terminal and ends at Tiong Bahru Road (Blk 1) and it only operates during Weekday Evening Peak hours and supplements the high demand for Service 33 along its residential sectors.

Short-Trip Service 33B operates during Weekday Morning Peak hours and supplements the high demand for Service 33 from residents along Changi Road and Joo Chiat Place travelling to CC8Dakota Station and Old Airport Road Food Centre.
