	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Service 2 is a trunk service serving Changi Village and Kampong Bahru. Passing from the east at Changi to the CBD and vice versa. Most of the route duplicates the East–West Line from Tanah Merah station to Bugis station.

Short-Trip Service 2B is a Short-Trip variant of Service 2 which operates during Weekday and Weekend afternoons and evening peak hours. Serving the high demand at Changi to Bedok.
