East–West Line: Life in Kembangan by Students from St. Joseph’s Institution (Liyu Jiong Yang, Cohen Seah, Oliver Khoo)

The mural celebrates the area’s cultural and community landmarks, including Our Lady of Perpetual Succour (OLPS) Church, Kembangan Community Centre, Masjid Kassim, and the Buddhist Union. It depicts the architectural features and historical significance of each site, reflecting the area’s evolution from a kampong to a modern residential community. Through its representation of places of worship and community spaces, the mural highlights Kembangan’s diverse heritage and strong communal spirit.[1][2]
