This colourful artwork depicts the daily movement of people. With arrows and shapes in multiple colours, the piece captures the dynamism, vibrancy and diversity in the Macpherson neighbourhood, with Singapore’s major ethnic groups represented by the colours.[3]
Downtown Line: Trails of Thoughts by Aminah Sa'at
This typographical installation captures the thoughts and sentiments of 27 MacPherson residents who were interviewed during the National Day celebrations in 2013. The artwork is rendered in Singapore’s four official languages: English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil.[3]
