Thomson–East Coast Line (TEL) is the sixth Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line. Traveling from one end to the other takes about 5 minutes. The line is currently 2.8 km long with 3 stations and it is fully underground and automated. When completed in 2024, the line will be 43 km long with 31 stations.

Rolling stock

The rolling stock consists of Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CRRC Qingdao Sifang CT251 trains. These trains operate from Mandai Depot near Woodlands South station, and will operate from East Coast Integrated Depot near Sungei Bedok station.
