Thomson–East Coast Line (TEL) is the sixth Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line. Traveling from one end to the other takes about 49 minutes. The line is currently 40.1 km long with 27 stations and it is fully underground and automated. When completed in 2026, the line will be 43 km long with 31 stations.

Rolling stock

The rolling stock consists of Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CRRC Qingdao Sifang T251 trains. These trains operate from Mandai Depot near Woodlands South station, and will operate from East Coast Integrated Depot near Sungei Bedok station.
