	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Design

This station has a different style of architecture from other stations on the eastern part of the East West Line. It is designed with a traditional Malay roof structure and shape, but used modern materials such as steel beams. This is to provide a sense of identity to the area as it situated close to Geylang Serai and Malay Village.
