	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. SBS Transit Bus Service 63 connects the residential estates of Kampong Ubi, MacPherson, Tiong Bahru and Bukit Merah to the central areas of Bugis, Clarke Quay and Chinatown. It is an important route between the Ubi Industrial Estate and Eunos station for many workers, and it also connects Rumah Tinggi and its surrounding Redhill estates with connections to Tiong Bahru station.

Demand between Ubi Industrial Estate and Eunos station is high during peak hours, and Service 63M helps to relieve some of that loading.
