This service is the 61^st bus service introduced under the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP).

With its introduction, Service 150 serves as a convenient doorstep alternative for residents in both residential estates to access Eunos with shorter walking distances, as existing services only provide unidirectional connections or require longer walking distances.
