	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Selected bus services will have their operating hours extended to coincide with the last train timing. SBS Transit Bus Service 7 is an inter-town bus service that connects the residential estates of Bedok, Geylang, Kallang, Bukit Timah, and Clementi to the city areas such as Tanglin and Orchard. It is one of the three services to serve between Bedok Interchange and Clementi Interchange, the two other being 14 and 196. However this service covers a total of 23km between Bedok and Clementi while Service 14 covers a total of 34km and Service 196 covers a total of 31km between these two interchanges, so this service is the shortest route to serve from Bedok to Clementi.
