	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Bus Service 26 is a inter-town route between Toa Payoh and Bedok, passing through Bendemeer, Geylang Bahru, Kallang, Geylang, Paya Lebar, Eunos and Chai Chee. The route duplicates the East–West Line between Kallang and Kembangan, a sector also shared by Services 2, 67 and many more routes over shorter sectors of Sims Avenue and Changi/Geylang Road.

In June 2016, Service 26 was amended to serve Chai Chee estate, benefitting residents in Chai Chee estate with a direct link to EW6Kembangan station as well as other amenities along Bus Service 26’s route.
