The car numbers of the trains range from 801x to 840x, where x depends on the carriage type.
- The last digit identifies the position of the car from the front end of the train; where ‘1’ represents first car, ‘2’ represents second car and ‘3’ represents third car.
- (Example) Passenger Vehicle 33 (also 833) would consist of 3 cars with serial number 8331, 8332, 8333 respectively.
- Depending on the direction of travel, the sequence may be reversed.
