SBS Transit Bus Service 50 connects the residential towns of Bishan, Ang Mo Kio, Sengkang and Punggol.

The route enhances connectivity particularly within the Punggol and Sengkang areas, where bus connectivity to outlying estates used to be rather limited.

Additional weekday morning peak departures were added from PE6Oasis Station towards Punggol Temp Int from 27 March 2024 to supplement the Punggol LRT East Loop from 6:30am to 8:30am on weekdays, except public holidays.

This service is introduced under the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP).

SBS Transit Short-Trip Bus Service 50A supplements weekday morning peak hour demand for Service 50 from Sengkang East & Sengkang West to industries along Ang Mo Kio Ave 5, ITE College Central and NS16Ang Mo Kio Station.
