	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Bus Service 960 is an inter-town route connecting Woodlands and Bukit Panjang to city areas like Newton, Little India, Bugis and Marina Centre, via the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) and Pan Island Expressway (PIE). The route shares duplicative sectors with Service 961 (and its variant Service 961M) between Woodlands and Bukit Panjang, linking industrial estates along Woodlands Road to NS7Kranji and DT1BP6Bukit Panjang MRT stations.

This service sees higher demand on weekends, with foreign workers commuting between dormitories along Woodlands Road and Little India.

Alternatively, Express Service 960e offers a faster connection from Woodlands and Marsiling to city areas, skipping Woodlands Road and Bukit Panjang, operating at selected hours daily.

SMB1344L (Feeder 904) will perform crossover trips on Service 960 during PM peak and PM Off-Peak SMB1399D will perform crossover trips on Feeder 902 during Weekdays AM Peak & AM Off-Peak (except Republic Polytechnic (RP) vacations). Random Feeder 901M DDs, Feeder 903 DDs, Feeder 913 DDs & Service 962 DDs will operate on Service 960 on Weekends & Public Holidays.
