	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train Services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. There will be no train service between Tampines station and Tanah Merah station with Simei station being closed. This is to prepare for the opening of the new East Coast Integrated Depot (ECID) in 2026, LTA and SMRT will be undertaking a series of works to facilitate the connection of tracks from the existing East–West Line to the ECID. Chinese name controversy

This station's original Chinese name (海湾), was initially the same as Cove LRT station. However, to avoid possible confusion between these two stations, it was later decided that the Chinese name for this station would be "海湾舫" instead.

  Circle Line & Downtown Line: When the Ship Comes in by Lee Wen
  The art piece celebrates Singapore’s rich history as a port of call, located on major trade routes in South-East Asia. The mural is a collage of different drawings of ships by Singaporeans aged 7 to 12 based on historical images but with a dose of fantasy and imagination. The work celebrates history and the hopes for a better future.
