Bus Service 189

	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Please refer here for more information. Train services will be extended on the eve of Good Friday, 17 April 2025 (Thursday), and on the eve of Labour Day, 30 April 2025 (Wednesday). Selected bus services will have their operating hours extended to coincide with the last train timing. With the route amendment, it will serve three additional bus stops along Bidadari Park Dr and one additional bus stop along Upper Serangoon Rd. bus service 148 will be introduced, operating from Woodleigh ITH and looping at Potong Pasir Ave 1, providing direct connections to the bus interchange and key amenities such as Woodleigh Mall, Woodleigh Village Hawker Centre, schools in Woodleigh and Potong Pasir and the upcoming Bidadari Polyclinic. From Sunday, 27 April 2025, Pasir Ris Bus Interchange will be relocated to the new Pasir Ris Integrated Transport Hub (ITH), which will be accessible via Pasir Ris Mall, Level 1. Tower Transit Bus Service 189 is an inter-town route linking the residential estates of Bukit Batok and Clementi.

Buses departing Bukit Batok Interchange after 2315 hours terminate at Bukit Batok Street 23 which are indicated with the “A” suffix (Short-Trip 189A).

Operating hours are extended on the eves of public holidays to align with the last train at Bukit Batok station. Revised timing will be announced closer to the respective dates by the operator.
