Tower Transit City Direct Service 657 provides residents of Hong Kah subzone (Jurong East), Yuhua East/West subzones (Jurong East), and Toh Guan subzone (Jurong East), who rely on the rail network and feeder buses, with a direct travel alternative to the Central Business District (CBD). This service incorporates an express sector between Toh Guan Road and Central Business District via Jurong Town Hall Road and Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE).

This service is the 24^th bus service introduced under the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP).

Evening peak-hour departures will be brought forward to the afternoon on the eves of Christmas, New Year, and Lunar New Year. Revised timing will be announced closer to the respective dates by the operator.
