SBS Transit Bus Service 145 a inter-town route connecting residents of Toa Payoh, Balestier, Telok Blangah, Redhill, Queenstown & Holland Village to the City areas of Lavender, Bugis, Clarke Quay, Chinatown, Tanjong Pagar & HarbourFront. The route is frequently patronised owing to the many connections it provides between City and residential estates.

This service largely duplicates with service 80 between Lavender and HarbourFront, after which it continues south towards Buona Vista, whereas service 80 terminates at HarbourFront Bus Interchange.

SBS Transit Short-Trip Service 145A complements the demand of Bus Service 145 during the morning peak hours on Weekdays, connecting EW18Redhill Station to Henderson Industrial Park and Central Manpower Base located at Depot Road.
