Thomson–East Coast Line

	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Thomson East Coast Line (TEL) will be the sixth Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line. The line will be 43 km long with 31 stations when completed and it is fully underground and automated.

Rolling stock

The rolling stock consists of Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CRRC Qingdao Sifang CT251 trains. These trains will operate from two depots along the line, Mandai Depot near Woodlands South station and East Coast Integrated Depot near Sungei Bedok station.
