Tower Transit City Direct Service 651 provides residents of Jurong West, who relied on rail network and feeder buses, a travel alternative to the Central Business District (CBD). This service incorporates an express sector between Jurong West Street 61 and Central Business District via Pioneer Road North and Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE).
It was the 14th bus service that benefits under the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP), and the 1st peak-hour unidirectional city direct bus service introduced.
On the eves of Christmas, New Year, and Chinese New Year, evening peak-hour departures will be brought forward to the afternoon. Revised timing will be announced by the operator closer to the respective dates.
