Tower Transit City Direct Service 657 provides residents of Hong Kah subzone, Jurong East, Yuhua East/West subzones, Jurong East, and Toh Guan subzone, Jurong East, who relied on rail network and feeder buses, a travel alternative to the Central Business District (CBD). This service incorporates an express sector between Bukit Batok East Ave 3 and Central Business District via Pan Island Expressway (PIE), Clementi Avenue 6, and Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE).

This service is introduced under the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP). On the eves of Christmas, New Year, and Chinese New Year, evening peak-hour departures will be brought forward to the afternoon. Revised timing will be announced by the operator closer to the respective dates.
