	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Bus Service 7 is a major trunk route bridging East and West, connecting the residential towns of Bedok and Clementi with the suburban areas of Ulu Pandan, Holland and Guillemard, and finally the City areas of Bugis and Orchard. Its direct routing is a popular route between outlying estates and the city as an alternative to the MRT network.

Short-Trip Bus Service 7A operates on Weekday during Peak hours and Weekends & Public Holidays during both Peak & Off-peak hours and it supplements the existing Service 7 with additional City-bound trips for commuters at Bedok, Eunos, Geylang and Guillemard.

Short-Trip Bus Service 7B also operates on Weekday during Peak hours and Weekends & Public Holidays during both Peak & Off-peak hours and it supplements the existing Service 7 with additional City-bound trips for residents of Clementi, Ulu Pandan and Holland.
